Budapest & Bratislava

I want to share some photograph which attracted the attention in terms of structure of architecture from my summer trip.

In old town of Bratislava, there is a dominant structure that become an main character of the city. The castle was converted into a Gothic style in 1430, became a Renaissance castle in 1562, and was rebuilt in 1649 in the baroque style. We can see that the effects of many architectural terms on the structures. It is not avoidable situation that the architecture was exposed to that term architectural styles. Also I encountered an example of the caryatid column style that  being a sculpted female figure serving as an architectural support taking the place of a column on her head on the structure.
